George Clinton is known as one of the greatest influences on American music, hip-hop and beyond. He has performed with acts like James Brown, Funkadelic, Parliament/Funkadelic, Bootsy Collins, Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Roots, has worked with some of the world's leading artists including Kanye West, Snoop Dogg, Q-Tip, Mos Def and more. His most famous contribution to music is the song "Atomic Dog" from his 1987 album "Computer Games." Clinton is also an educator. He has taught courses at Columbia University, NYU, Rutgers University and Stanford University
He was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1996.
